Randy Crawford

As President and Chief Executive Officer, Mr. Crawford will lead the development and execution of AltaGas’ strategic plan. With a focus on Gas and U.S. Utilities, he will oversee the reshaping of our company and optimization of our businesses to drive AltaGas through the next phase of growth and value creation.
Mr. Crawford is a seasoned executive with more than 30 years of experience in the natural gas industry. Prior to joining AltaGas, Mr. Crawford was Senior Vice President and President, Midstream and Commercial with EQT Corporation, a premier U.S. integrated gas company. In his role, he led the company’s ambitious growth strategy in the Marcellus natural gas play. He was also responsible for overseeing all of EQT's commercial, regulatory, operations and project development functions of EQT Marketing, EQT Gathering Inc., Equitrans Interstate Pipeline and Equitable Gas Company. In addition, he held progressively senior roles at EQT’s regulated gas utility, including serving as its President.
While at EQT Midstream Partners, Mr. Crawford implemented a nimble business structure and growth strategy that tripled the size of the company and increased its market cap from $700 million to more than $5 billion in just two years. With his long track record of success and ability to drive top-tier performance, coupled with his experience in the base businesses that form the foundation of our growth strategy, Mr. Crawford is well-positioned to lead the next chapter of growth for AltaGas.
Mr. Crawford previously served as a director for the American Gas Association, the Energy Association of Pennsylvania, the West Virginia Oil and Natural Gas Association and the Interstate Natural Gas Association of America. He’s a director of the Children’s Hospital of Pittsburgh Foundation, a member of the University of Pittsburgh Cancer Institute Council, and a past West Virginia Wesleyan College Trustee.
D. James Harbilas (B.Comm, CPA, CA)

In his role as Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer, Mr. Harbilas is responsible for the overall financial strategy of AltaGas as well as its treasury, corporate development and capital market functions. Mr. Harbilas joined AltaGas from Enerflex Ltd., a Calgary-based, international natural gas services company, where he served as Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer for over 11 years. Prior to his leadership role at Enerflex Ltd., he also served as Vice President, Finance and Chief Financial Officer of Fortis Alberta Inc., a regulated utility. Mr. Harbilas is a Chartered Accountant and holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree from Concordia University.
Corine Bushfield (B.Comm, CPA, CA)

Ms. Bushfield joined AltaGas Ltd in 2016 and is responsible for corporate-wide functions including procurement, human resources and information technology. Ms. Bushfield is a Chartered Professional Accountant with more than 20 years of oil and gas industry experience. Over her career, Ms. Bushfield has worked at PricewaterhouseCoopers in the auditing and transaction services groups, Encana Corporation as Vice President and Assistant Controller, and most recently with Long Run Exploration as Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer. Ms. Bushfield holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree from the University of Calgary and is a member of the Chartered Professional Accountants of Alberta.
Brad Grant (B.Comm, LLB/MBA)

In his role as Executive Vice President and Chief Legal Officer, Mr. Grant oversees the legal, corporate secretarial and environment, health and safety teams. Mr. Grant has extensive experience in the petroleum and natural gas and power sectors and was formerly managing partner of the Calgary office of a national law firm. Mr. Grant holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree from the University of Saskatchewan and a joint Bachelor of Laws and Masters of Business Administration degree from the University of British Columbia.
Donald (Blue) Jenkins (B.Sc., MBA)

Mr. Jenkins joined AltaGas in December 2019. In his role, he oversees the development and execution of AltaGas’ strategic plan and is responsible for advancing our strategy of implementing an operational excellence model across our U.S. Utilities. Mr. Jenkins is a seasoned executive with more than two decades of experience in all facets of the energy industry including senior leadership roles in commercial strategy, business development, trading, information technology and safety. He holds a Master of Business Administration degree from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University and a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Brigham Young University.
Randy Toone (B.Sc., P. Eng)

Mr. Toone joined AltaGas as Executive Vice President, Gas in 2016 and was appointed Executive Vice President and President, Gas in 2018. In this role, he provides leadership for the commercial and business development teams within the gas division, aligning divisional activities with AltaGas’ strategic direction and growth targets.
His experience with AltaGas began in 2003 working in the extraction and transmission business. He progressed his career at AltaGas through senior management and executive roles in both the Midstream and Utilities segments before leaving the company to pursue interests abroad. In addition to AltaGas Ltd, Mr. Toone has worked with CVS Midstream as Chief Operating Officer and as Country Manager for TAG OIL in New Zealand. He holds a Bachelor of Science, Mechanical Engineering, from the University of Calgary and attended the Executive Program at the Ivey Business School at Western University.
Shaheen Amirali (BSc, LLB)

As Chief External Affairs and Sustainability Officer since October 2020, Ms. Amirali leads AltaGas’ environmental, social and governance (ESG) initiatives through a focused platform led corporately in support of the sustainability of AltaGas’ business and operations enterprise-wide. Through this role she oversees AltaGas’ enterprise-wide ESG strategy and execution, stakeholder relations efforts including the Company’s Indigenous and community affairs, and internal and external communications. She is responsible for overseeing the Company’s code of business ethics, compliance and governance. Ms. Amirali joined AltaGas as Corporate Counsel in 2007 and has served in a number of senior roles. She holds a Bachelor of Science degree specializing in Environmental and Conservation Sciences and a Bachelor of Laws degree, both from the University of Alberta.
