The 507 MW facility is directly connected to an El Paso Gas Company natural gas pipeline for its primary gas supply and a Southern California Gas Company pipeline as a secondary gas supply, and also interconnects to SCE and CAISO via a 67-mile transmission line which is also owned by Blythe Energy Center.
