On April 10, 2018, the Canadian Gas Association (CGA) presented Katie Oliver, AUI’s Supervisor, Regulatory Research and Communications, with the Public Safety Award. Katie received this award for using AUI’s social media platforms to grow customer satisfaction, provide notification of natural gas outages and emergencies, share safety information and help raise customer awareness on utility imposter scams. Katie created informative and engaging content to promote AUI as a responsible, safety-minded natural gas provider and more than doubled AUI’s following on Twitter and Facebook in the process.
