Clean Energy for California
The Walker Ridge Wind Park is a proposed 60 to 70 megawatt clean energy wind generation project to be located on federal lands straddling Lake and Colusa counties. Walker Ridge has been designated by the Bureau of Land Management (BLM) as a potential wind area to help California fulfill its clean energy needs. Once completed, the clean energy facility, including approximately 29 wind turbines, could supply the electricity needs of approximately 25,000 homes.
