AltaGas Ltd. ("AltaGas") is a corporation amalgamated pursuant to the Canada Business Corporations Act that invests in the business of gathering, processing, transporting, extracting, buying, storing or selling petroleum, natural gas, natural gas liquids or other related products, power or other forms of energy and related businesses. AltaGas is the successor to AltaGas Income Trust, pursuant to a plan of arrangement effected on July 1, 2010.
