* If, in respect of any distribution payment date, fulfilling all of the elections under the Plans would result in AltaGas Income Trust exceeding either the limit on new equity set by AltaGas Income Trust or the aggregate annual limit on new Trust Units issuable pursuant to optional cash payments, then elections for the purchase of new Trust Units on that distribution payment date will be accepted: (a) first, from participants electing to reinvest distributions or invest loan proceeds under the distribution reinvestment component of the applicable Plan; (b) second, from participants electing to receive the premium distribution™ and (c) third, from participants electing to make optional cash payments. If AltaGas Income Trust is not able to accept all elections in a particular component of the Plans, then purchases of Trust Units in that category on the applicable distribution payment date will be prorated among the participants in that component.
